UK, August 14, 2012 -- The Freudenberg Nonwovens company is expanding its stake in the adsorptives segment of the nonwoven industry by purchasing a lot of new equipment that will be ready for the upcoming year. Freudenberg is already a hefty contender in the adsorptives segment and this expension will certainly help them increase their production. The company has three production plants in the UK. Littleborough is the most recently established, with about 30 associates. Facilities at the plant cover all stages in the production of activated carbon materials and filters: coating, laminating conversion and finishing. These adsorptive materials have many applications for odor control including medical and ostomy products.
